What is a plastic food drive?
The Plastic food drive is an annual fundraiser held by the Nevada Partnership For Homeless Youth. Our goal is to raise $25,000 so that we can feed hundreds of homeless teens for thanksgiving and the holiday season.
How can I help?
In the past year, the number of homeless teens in our community in need of services has doubled. In order to help provide food for these youth, the Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth (NPHY) is hosting our sixth annual Plastic Food Drive this holiday season and we need your help! Anyone can donate by either clicking this link and making a $5, $10, or $25 donation or you can drop off a prepaid fast food or grocery store gift card to the William Fry drop-in center. Additionally businesses, schools, groups and offices can participate by holding their own Plastic Food Drive and encouraging employees to contribute $5 fast food and/or $25 grocery store gift cards. Gift cards can be collected from now through Tuesday, November 20th, when NPHY will host our Plastic Food Drive Grand Finale event to celebrate the close-out of this year’s Plastic Food Drive. At the Grand Finale event, offices and groups who raise the most gift cards will be rewarded with prizes and other goodies.
